Completed in 2023, marks a significant breakthrough for the artist, merging myriad thoughts and emotions regarding traditional forms of contemporary Western art into a single canvas. This groundbreaking work melds both collage and trompe l'oeil venturing
beyond mere homage, offering a distinctly modern interpretation of CM Russell's legacy.

In this composition, six distinct works by Russell converge in a tapestry of artistic dialogue. My Palette

An artist's palette speaks volumes about a painter and the painting process. On the reverse of this painting you will discover a white Mylar sheet which was actually used as my palette for this painting. 

I have never laid out my colors in an orderly fashion as most other painters do.  Instead, I've always enjoyed the beauty and excitement of placing my colors in an unpredictable and spontaneous fashion.
